Why Moleculs.ai

A straightforward way to work with AI

What the analysis helps with

Diseases, pests, care mistakes, treatment plan

  • Likely Cause

Fungus, bacterial infection, a pest, or a watering mistake - based on the pattern and location of the spots.

  • Care Mistakes

Often it's not a disease at all: overwatering, too little light, sunburn, nutrient deficiency.

  • What to Do

Concrete steps, in order: remove the affected parts, adjust the routine, treat.

  • Prevention

How to keep it from spreading to nearby plants.

All of it right in one window. Pick a task, write a short prompt, and get a draft you can quickly shape into your own.

Diagnosing a plant disease from a photo

Half of houseplant "diseases" are actually care mistakes. Yellow leaves, brown tips, and dropped buds are more often explained by watering and light than by infection. That's why a photo diagnosis doesn't start with a disease name - it starts with the question of what's actually visible in the shot.

What the photo shows, and what only you can tell it

A photo shows the character of the damage: a dry spot or a wet one, with a ring around it or without, a film on top of the leaf or underneath, whether it's the young leaves or the old ones affected. That narrows down the possibilities.

But half the work comes from describing the conditions. How often you water, where the pot sits, when the first signs appeared, whether nearby plants show the same thing. Overwatering and root rot look like ordinary wilting on the leaves - what tells them apart from a fungal infection is the watering routine, not the picture.

So the best request is a photo plus two or three sentences about the conditions.

Houseplants and garden plants

For houseplants, it's usually watering, light, dry air, spider mites, or scale insects. For the garden, it's more often blight, powdery mildew, leaf spot, aphids, and caterpillars. The remedies differ: indoors, changing the routine and treating with soap or a product is usually enough; outdoors, crop rotation and protecting neighboring plants matter too.

About treatments

The model will tell you which category of product is used against a given problem - fungicides, insecticides, biological treatments. Dosage, pre-harvest intervals, and compatibility always need to be checked against the label: they differ by manufacturer, and a mistake there can cost you the harvest.

What to expect from the answer

A likely explanation, a plan of action, and a sign that will tell you within a week whether it worked. That's more useful than a confident diagnosis with nothing to check it against.
